Elon Musk Renamed X from XPro

TweetDeck has been renamed XPro as part of an ongoing rebranding effort for the Elon Musk-owned social media site X, formerly known as Twitter.

Instead of using the @TweetDeck handle for the product, the business has moved to @Pro. However, references to “Twitter” and “TweetDeck” can still be seen throughout the program, including on the help page.

Given that Musk hinted at the shift last week, the name is hardly shocking. He also said at the time that XPro would include “a wide range of psy op plugins”. There was no explanation as to what kind of plugins they would be, as is the case with many of Musk’s articles.

The business began migrating users to an updated version of the program early last month after many users discovered they couldn’t access certain areas of TweetDeck. Later, it added that only verified users will have access to TweetDeck after 30 days. Since the announcement was made on July 4th, it is expected that X will soon make XPro/TweetDeck a paid-only product.

Optimizing the website wasn’t easy for Musk and the company despite their busy schedule. Without paying compensation or providing advance warning, the corporation acquired the @x handle from its previous owner. Additionally, it appears that Apple has made concessions for the social network business to name its app with only one character. Generally, the iPhone maker prohibits developers from naming their apps with only one character in the App Store. Additionally, the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection requested that a Musk-owned business remove a flashing “X” sign from its office building after receiving complaints over the weekend.
